Say It In French
Language School offers classes suitable
to every French student's language level and abilities, from beginning to
advanced. Complimenting the classes are workshops focusing on specialized
topics such as numbers, pronouns, and verb tenses. French film classes
emphasizing vocabulary, idiomatic expressions, and cultural awareness improve
comprehension of the spoken language.
Say It In French
Language School takes great pride and pleasure in bringing students fun and
creative ways to learn French. A Play It In French class provides
an opportunity to play Scrabble, Monopoly, cards and a variety of other games
all in French. Stitch and Chat and Nature Walks conducted in
French increase vocabulary not found in a traditional classroom setting.
In essence, the
school's objective is to provide clear, practical, and personalized instruction
to individuals and small groups. Class size is usually limited to six.
Classes focus on speaking, listening, reading, writing, and cultural
understanding through a teaching method based on authentic use of the French
language. Many of the school's students travel to French speaking
countries. The school's supportive instruction gives students the skills
they need to be confident and competent conversing with people they meet in a
multitude of situations during their travels.
Say It In French Language School is easily
accessible from anywhere in the Portland metropolitan area. The Tigard
Public Library located just down the road from the school provides a quiet place
for study.
